Most automotive lifts are manufactured in China, this includes common lifts you have seen advertised. The distributor is an American company but the lift is being manufactured over seas.
All of our lifts are 9000lb and higher capacity. We do not sell the lower end models that are often seen online 7000 or 8000lb. Also all of our lifts carry CE Certification that requires ISO which is a high standard of quality.
The lifts come very strategically packed in a steel framed crate and yes they are very heavy. Basically 2’w x 2 1/2’h x 15’L HEAVY!
Ideally a fork lift, we can load you no problem. Lets talk unload, if you do not have forklift a few options we have heard and seen. One disassemble crate piece by piece on trailer (need 2-4 people). Second option, an engine hoist can work well. Have done many myself this way prior to the fork lift. Take your time and be careful, easier with more than one person.
Tricky question, yes, however highly recommend at least one helper if not two. Also your level of mechanical expertise will make this easy peasy or a bit more difficult. There are great videos available for guidance. We also offer set up, ask for details.

It does come with a sliding Jack tray but not the jack itself. We do sell the optional jack mechanism. Other jacks may also work.
